November 2022 (Kingdom Power)

Updated: Aug 8

FBC Gallatin,

Stacy and I were overwhelmed by the display of kindness and generosity to our family during pastor appreciation month in October. From the daily social media encouraging posts by Ashley Marshall all month long that many were following and sharing kind words and thoughtful prayers, to the wonderful pastor appreciation dinner, and the very generous gifts from our church family. Thank you so much for your kindness and encouragement!

And as our church has shown so much love and care and appreciation for both of our pastors, I just want to let you know that I appreciate and am so thankful for every one of you here at FBC Gallatin. God has been so gracious to give us the unique privilege and honor to pastor you, and I want you to know how much I appreciate this great honor and blessing to be one of your pastors.

Thank you for supporting the ministry of FBC Gallatin and for stepping in and doing the work of the ministry as well using your gifts and being faithful to what the God calls each and every one of us to do for His glory! We really wouldn’t be functioning as a healthy church if each of us weren’t using our gifts and serving the Lord together.

So, as we continue to see Kingdom Power from the Gospel of Matthew, and marvel at the mighty miracle working savior, I hope that our thanksgiving and humble gratefulness to the grace of God would permeate all our minds. I hope that this display of Jesus that we have been seeing in this series so far through Matthew 8-9 will urge us on with hearts of faith that seeks to live and serve the Lord with all of our lives. The power Jesus demonstrated years ago is powerful for us to see today as it increases our faith and love for Him and gives us urgency to bring the good news of the Gospel to everyone we meet. If we are thankful for this savior, and thankful for our church, let us be reminded about what we are here for and get busy following and living for and witnessing about King Jesus together!

Sincerely,

Pastor Daniel Pelichowski
