FBC Gallatin,
During the past month we’ve been learning the answer to the classic catechism question: “What is the chief end of man?” in a sermon series on glorifying God. It’s my challenge to all of us as members of FBC Gallatin to intentionally live that out, not only this next month in June (though that’s a start), but that we might “glorify God and enjoy him forever” which goes on well beyond this next month of course.
1 Corinthians 10:31 says; “so, whether we eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” So next month (and forever), try to be intentional when you go about your day to day lives, eating and drinking, and shopping, and playing, and working, and worshiping, and praying, and talking, and doing the bills, and casting a rod, and sewing a blanket, and driving to a game, and planning a camping trip, and making a call, and teaching your kids, and serving your church, and whatever you do, do all to the glory of God!
Whether the obvious things, or less obvious things, or even the hard things, but not making any things other than God the ultimate thing; lets resolve to do all things to the glory of God!
Sincerely,
Pastor Daniel Pelichowski
