FBC Gallatin,

We’re looking forward to our annual VBS coming up at the end of the month! The Answers in Genesis curriculum this year is focused on the person and work of Jesus Christ with a western theme titled Wonder Junction! Please be praying for our ministry to the kiddos and that the Word of God would impact many lives with good news Gospel truth!

Also be praying for our new mobile pantry ministry where we serve food through the Second Harvest organization out of our parking lot on a monthly basis. Pray for those who serve, and for those who come to our church to receive needed provisions that it would be a blessing for all involved. And pray that God would be glorified as we seek to serve our community through this new ministry opportunity.

Lastly, please pray for me as I continue to preach through John’s 3 letters, and pray for the church body and anyone who might visit that they would learn truth that transforms lives to God’s glory. And remember the 4 Tests from 1 John (Doctrinal, Godliness, Worldliness, Love) that we have been seeing, because they can help lead us to greater focus in the Christian life and assurance of salvation. It can also help us keep one another accountable and to encourage one another with evidences of grace in each other’s lives!

So pray for me, but also pray for yourself and for others that we might put to practice the truths we are seeing in the Word, and that we might be encouraged with assurance of salvation as John intended in his letters… 1 John 5:13 says “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life. And this is the confidence that we have towards him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us.”

Sincerely,

Pastor Daniel Pelichowski
